Your privacy is a trust we take seriously. This page explains, in plain language, what data Folo (FoloCRM)
collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it — without unnecessary legalese.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, organization name, and password (encrypted — even we can't read it).
- Your customers' data: whatever you and your team enter into the system (contacts, deals, notes, files). This is your data — we just store it for you.
- Usage data: pages visited and aggregate statistics, used to improve the product.
- Contact data: if you book a demo or download a guide, we keep your email to send you what you asked for.
2. How we use it
- To operate and provide the service to you and your team.
- To send system notifications (follow-up reminders, alerts) and emails you explicitly requested.
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns — never your customers' data.
3. What we never do
- We never sell your data or your customers' data to any third party. Ever.
- We never share your data with advertisers.
- We never read your customers' data unless you request technical support that requires it and authorize us in writing.
4. Storage & security
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on secure cloud servers. Internal access is limited to
the narrowest scope, and every access is logged. Periodic backups protect your data from loss.
5. Your rights
- Export: export all your data (Excel/CSV) at any moment from inside the system.
- Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and all its data — completed within 30 days.
- Correction: edit your data yourself at any time.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login and operating the service, plus simple analytics to understand site usage.
We do not use advertising trackers.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change anything substantial, we'll notify you by email or in-app before it takes effect.
